We have recurring markets each Saturday all year round. Our Tuesday Market is open April - November. We also host special events from time to time, including Stone Soup, Earth Day, Sunset Markets, Tomato Fest, Harvest Fest, and Holiday Markets. Stone Soup is a family-friendly folk tale celebration in collaboration with Massanutten Regional Library including a read-aloud and free vegetable soup made with Market ingredients. Stone Soup is held annually on the last Saturday in March.
Join us to celebrate Earth Week at the Harrisonburg Farmers Market. The event is held annually on Tuesday and Saturday the week of Earth Day.
Sunset Markets are held every third Thursday from 5 to 8pm June through August. Enjoy live music, local artisans and farmers, food trucks and vendors, and hands-on activities with community organizations like free yoga, a drum circle, and more.
Tomato Fest is a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of all things tomato. Enjoy tomato tastings, a tomato contest, chef demos, tomato-themed products, and more. Tomato Fest is held annually on the first Saturday in August.
Harvest Fest is a family-friendly event marking the end of the harvest season with activities, games, food, and live music. Enjoy pumpkin painting, field games, a pie contest, a farm truck photo booth, and more. The event is organized by James Madison University’s Sport and Recreation students. Harvest Fest is held annually on the first Saturday in November.
Holiday Markets are held annually on the first three Saturdays in December. Rain, snow, or shine we are open with an expanded selection of artisan goods including handmade wreaths, herbal self care, jewelry, and more.
