Bacon Asparagus Wraps

Ingredients
1 pound asparagus*
1/2 pound bacon*
Olive oil, lemon juice, crumbled feta or goat cheese*
*These ingredients can be found at the Harrisonburg Farmers Market
Method
Fry bacon strips until limp but not crispy.
Divide asparagus into bunches of 3-4 spears. Wrap each bunch with a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Line a cookie tray with parchment paper. Place the asparagus-bacon wraps on the tray and garnish with olive oil, lemon juice and freshly ground pepper. Sprinkle with crumbled cheese.
Turn the broiler on high. Broil for 2-3 minutes, until bacon is crispy. Turn the wraps over and broil for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve right away and enjoy!
